We are a community based independent practice in Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire. We pride ourselves on providing quality customer service and care for the local community. We are an Independent prescriber, meaning we can clinically assess a patient, establish a diagnosis, determine the clinical management required and prescribe where necessary.  Any urgent problems you may have we are more than happy to see you as soon as possible!

Scotland is now the European leader in providing community based primary eye care. Universal access to healthcare is one of the Scottish Government's key priorities. That is why free eye examinations for all were introduced in Scotland. This meant that anyone from any background was able to access free eye care to help reduce the risk of sight loss. Grampian's Eye Health Network is regarded as being the best in Scotland as well.

We also have the latest Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) equipment. This uses low intensity infra-red light to give a 3D image of the back of the eye.  It shows not only the surface but also the depth of the structures. This equipment is invaluable when diagnosing many eye conditions including Glaucoma, Diabetic Retinopathy and Age-related Macular Degeneration!
